Summer's slipping round of wedding season

Summer's wrapping up. A lot of things happened this summer.

perhaps most exciting, my 5 year old starts kindergarden tomorrow. Today he got to ride the bus which he was really excited about! He's the squirrely one turned around making a face at the camera.

HammerString started playing in the Central West End at places like the Barnett, Scape American Bistro, and for the crowds at Taste and Braiserre's. We kept very busy and saw a tremendous response from the audiences at these great venues!

I had a chance to record on an album by the amazing Trumpet player, Keith Moyer. It consisted of his original music arranged for quintet. I also had the opportunity to mix the album and we're going to be releasing soon! We're really happy with the sound we captured and can't wait to share in the next few weeks!

This week HammerString will be playing at Evangelines on Thursday, and I'll be performing with the Hard Bop Messengers on Friday at the same venue. Then Saturday night HammerString will be at Scape American Bistro.

Wedding season is about to kick back in in full force. August through November promise to be very busy!
